PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method for a refrigeration unit for land transportation, and a refrigeration unit for land transportation. SOLUTION: A relay box 26 is provided in a circuit connected to a battery 5. The relay box 26 is connected so that power of the battery 5 is used as power for driving a compressor 25 in cooperation with a power supply source of another line based on input of at least one of a signal outputted when temperature difference between a set temperature and an inner temperature is more than a prescribed value, a signal outputted when power generation quantity of a power generator 7 is lower than power consumption of the compressor 25, a signal outputted from a switch 11a provided on a controller 11, and a signal outputted when traveling load of a vehicle is large. A solar battery 6 is installed at an upper surface of the vehicle to further compose a power supply source. |
