PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reinforcing organic fiber material having the principal application properties of conventional reinforcing inorganic fiber materials and provide a fiber-reinforced molded article produced by compounding the reinforcing organic fiber material, contributing to the improvement of the disposal and reutilization, or the like, and having excellent productivity and economy. SOLUTION: The organic fiber is produced by a conjugate spinning method. The melting point of the core-forming resin is higher than that of the sheath- forming resin by >=20 deg.C. Preferably, the reinforcing organic fiber material is an organic fiber produced by a conjugate spinning method, the core part of the fiber is made of a polyethylene terephthalate and the sheath part is made of a polypropylene and/or a polyethylene. The amount of the reinforcing organic fiber material is 1-100 wt.% based on a matrix component resin. |
