PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the level of the noise radiated from a vibration transmission absorbing unit of an intake system duct. SOLUTION: In the intake system of the internal combustion engine having the intake system duct and the vibration transmission absorbing unit formed as a part of the intake system duct, a mass is fitted to the vibration transmission absorbing unit, and the mass is not fixed to any other part than the vibration transmission absorbing unit. By fitting the mass to the vibration transmission absorbing unit of a pipe, the pipe wall vibration of the vibration transmission absorbing unit is suppressed, and the level of the noise radiated therefrom is reduced.
