PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive bearing device offering simple construction for improving the performance of lubricating a bearing portion. SOLUTION: A small diameter portion 3b of a rotating shaft 3 is fitted to a bearing hole 6c formed in a bearing boss portion 6b of a casing 6 storing a lubricating fluid. The upper part of the bearing boss portion 6b is provided with a through-passage 10 passing from the outer periphery face thereof to the inner periphery face of the bearing hole 6c in the radial direction. The through-passage 10 is formed in a slit shape all over almost the total length of the small diameter portion 3b in the axial direction. With the rotation of the rotating shaft 3, the lubricating fluid is supplied through the through-passage 10 between the inner periphery face of the bearing hole 6c and the outer periphery face of the small diameter portion 3b.
