PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition for a hard surface, having excellent skin protection properties for hands and stable after a long-term preservation. SOLUTION: This detergent composition for the hard surface contains (a) one or more natural product selected from a plant extract, a silk protein and a royal jelly, (b) a nonionic surfactant and (c) one or more kinds of an aromatic sulfonic acid or a salt thereof, or an aromatic carboxylic acid or a salt thereof. Preferably, the detergent composition further contains (d) at least one kind of a compound selected from a polylysin, a zinc compound and glutaraldegyde, or an extracted oil from a tea tree or an extract thereof.
