PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular detergent composition capable of impaning a favorable touch feeling to washed clothing and preventing the clothing from yellowing. SOLUTION: This granular detergent composition for clothing comprises 7-20 mass% of a fatty acid salt and 6-19 mass% of a polyoxyalkylene alkyl (or alkenyl) ether with an oxyalkylene chain length of 13-30.
