PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel is provided to achieve improved stability of discharge by removing impurities from the inner surface of the plasma display panel through the oxygen treatment. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel comprises a first step(S20,S22) of forming a lower substrate and an upper substrate; a second step(S24) of sealing the upper substrate and the lower substrate; a third step(S26) of injecting oxygen gas into the internal space formed between the sealed upper plate and lower plate, permitting the oxygen gas to be coupled with the impurities attached to the surfaces of the upper and lower plates with an elapse of a predetermined time period, and evacuating the gas; and a fourth step(S28) injecting a discharge gas into the internal space formed between the upper and lower plates. |
