Cable sleeve and method of making the same

A cable support sleeve (1) has one or more protective tubes (5) with one or more cross channels (6). This holds one or more cable elements (3,4) to protect them from thermal and/or mechanical stresses. During its production plastic material in the support sleeve's body (2) penetrates from outside through the cross channel into the inside of the protective tubing, so that the protective tubing is waterproof lengthwise around this point of penetration.
