PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultured specimen-observing device capable of taking a picture without taking out the cultured specimen from a culturing case. SOLUTION: This cultured specimen-observing device for culturing the bio- specimens housed in multiple culturing instruments 13 in a culturing case 3 and taking pictures is equipped with multiple specimen stands 6 for arranging the multiple culturing instruments 13 and installed in the culturing case 3, a picture-taking unit 14 installed in the culturing case 3, taking the pictures of the culturing instruments 13 and displaying them at the outside of the culturing case 3, transporting means 10, 29 for transporting the picture-taking unit 14 and culturing instruments 13 relatively so as to make an arrangement capable of taking the picture of a desired culturing instrument 13 with the picture-taking unit 14 and a controlling means for controlling the transporting means 10, 29. Thereby, it becomes possible to take the picture of the desired culturing instrument 13 in the cultured case 3 by using the picture-taking unit, and to observe the desired culturing instrument 13 from the outside of the culturing case 3.
