PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boards support device which can be suppressed in height and is adjustable in height of posting-up boards at need. SOLUTION: A longitudinally movable moving member 16 is equipped between a pair of right and left support bodies 12, 12 the moving member 16 is constituted of a pair of right and left slide members 30, 30 supported respectively by a guide 23 of the support body 12 and a traversing member 31 positioned between the slide members 30, 30. The traversing member 31 is equipped with and constituted of a handle shaft 40, a base part shaft 43 which supports the lower end part of the boards and is positioned at the rear part of the handle shaft 40, and a connecting shaft 45 which is equipped on the base part shaft 43 via an erecting shaft 44 and can support the lower backside of the boards.
