PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal die for forging a rotor, its forging system, its forging method and the rotor, which enables manufacturing a dimensionally precise rotor economically, because a holding groove for a vane is highly accurate and rounding work for the holding groove for the vane is unnecessary or possibly reduced. SOLUTION: In metal dies composed of a combination of a lower die and an upper die to forge the rotor with a plurality of holding grooves for the vanes in an axial direction, the metal die for forging is characterized by including the lower die 24 having a forming cavity 22 in its center, from the internal wall surface of which a plurality of impeller-shaped forming blades 23 for the holding grooves for the vanes are projected inward, and a spacer 25 having a plurality of cylindrical parts, arranged inside the forming cavity 22 of the lower die 24, with wall surfaces defining an exterior shape of the cylindrical parts of the rotor divided by the holding grooves for the vanes, and a flange part connecting each cylindrical part.
