PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electronic tonometer which can accurately determine the lowest blood pressure without causing variations due to the individual difference and measurement condition of a subject. SOLUTION: In this electronic tonometer, the biggest gradient point is detected between the bottom point of pulse wave elements that overlap the cuff pressure and a peak point where the cuff pressure level at the time when the pulse wave element is detected is determined as the lowest blood pressure when the phase difference t/T (the difference of time: t) that appears from the bottom point of the biggest gradient point becomes smaller than the specified threshold. Thus, the lowest blood pressure can be determined without using a variation profile of a swing range of pulse waves which are notably influenced by the individual difference and measurement condition of the subject.
|
