PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the shape of an adsorption element having cooling air passages to enhance the adsorption capacity thereof. SOLUTION: Flat plate members (83) and corrugated plate members (84) are alternately laminated to constitute the adsorption elements (81) and (82). The flat plate members (83) are formed into a predetermined rectangular shape becoming L1 /L2 =2. In the adsorption elements (81) and (82), humidity conditioning passages (85) having an adsorbent are opened in the side surfaces positioned along the long sides of the flat plate members (83). Further, cooling passages (86) allowing cooling air to flow are opened in the side surfaces positioned along the short sides of the flat plate members (83).
