<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conserve the power consumption of a compressor while ensuring the pressure of an air tank until an air dryer becomes a moisture removable state after the start of operation. SOLUTION: The control circuit 40 of this gas separator selects a pressure control system (P type operation) until a predetermined time t1 when the freezing type air dryer 16 becomes a moisture removable state after starting is elapsed and selects an unload system (U type operation) subjecting the compressor 13 to load or unload operation when the predetermined time t1 bringing the air dryer 16 to the moisture removable state is elapsed. In the P type operation, the drive motor of the compressor 13 is stopped until the predetermined time t1 bringing the air dryer 16 to the moisture removable state is elapsed to reduce the power consumption. After the predetermined time t1 is elapsed, the operation of the compressor 13 is resumed and the pressure of the air tank 15 at the start time of formation of product gas is ensured to eliminate pressure deficiency.</p> |
