<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air filter material selectively and efficiently absorbing organic gas of high polarity and water. SOLUTION: The air filter material is composed of an air-permeable structure with an inorganic crystal having adsorptive action placed on the surface of a fiber substrate in such a manner as to form a film having a large number of pores on the surface. The BET specific surface area of the air-permeable structure is 30 m<2> /g or greater, and the volume of the pore is 0.05 cc/g or greater. The air-permeable structure is preferably made of flocculent material, knitted fabric, nonwoven fabric, paper or other three-dimensional reticular body.</p> |
