<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and inexpensively producing a dehydrated cake having low water content and being usable for farming as it is. SOLUTION: Sewage is treated biologically through an activated sludge process and is next treated through a pressurized flotation process to obtain froth or through a gravity thickening process to obtain thickened sludge. The froth or the thickened sludge is, after being incorporated with charcoal powder and slaked lime as filter aids, treated by means of a filter press to produce the dehydrated cake.</p> |
