<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aromatic liquid composition which contains 2,6-nanodienal in a high concentration and can provide a beverage, an alcohol beverage, or the like, having fresh and green fragrance, and to provide a method for producing the aromatic liquid composition, by which the aromatic liquid composition that contains 2,6-nanodienal in a high concentration and high safety can be mass-produced without adding an expensive substance and introducing new facilities. SOLUTION: The method for producing the aromatic liquid composition comprises biosynthesizing 2,6-nanodienal by reaction with lipoxygenase, using linolenic acid as a substrate. The beverage or alcohol beverage containing >=50 ppb of 2,6-nanodienal is obtained by using the method.</p> |
