PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective carrying device which can automatically sort paper and a sheet-shaped matter from a state where the paper and the sheet- shaped matter having hardness different from the paper coexist. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a conveyor belt 1 which is laid swingably around a supply side as the center, a conveyor belt 7 which receives the paper and a compact disk carried by the conveyor belt 1 and transports them to a discharging side, a rubber roller 9 for nipping and sending out the paper and the compact disk transported to a discharging end of the conveyor belt 7 and a driving roller 8 of the conveyor belt 7. The rubber roller 9 has a diameter larger than that of the driving roller 8 and its rotating center is arranged with a deviation to a supply end side of the belt conveyor 7 from a rotating center of the driving roller 8.
