PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disinfectant odor from remaining without exhausting after disinfection in a compact facility. SOLUTION: The formalin gas detoxifying and deodorizing device including a main line with one end used as a formalin gas inlet and another end used as a treatment gas outlet, a blower connected to the main line at a midway part to the inlet side, and a preheating means, an oxidation decomposing means and a cooling means connected in order from the blower to the outlet side is connected to a disinfecting device having a formalin gas disinfecting chamber. The disinfecting device is operated for a predetermined time for disinfection. The formalin gas detoxifying device is operated for a predetermined time to circulate formalin gas between the disinfecting chamber and the main line for a detoxification processing. A neutralizer is introduced into the disinfecting chamber and it is processed similarly to the disinfectant.
