PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair 1 achieving gentle transition of a seat frame S to a forwardly descending slope. SOLUTION: The wheelchair 1 is provided with a main frame M, the seat frame S, a first telescopic member 15 and a second telescopic member 17. The first telescopic member 15 is connected to the main frame M and the seat frame S. The second telescopic member 17 is also connected to the main frame M and the seat frame S. When a release lever 13 is drawn by a helper, a lock of the first telescopic member 15 is released and the first telescopic member 15 is extended. By this, the seat frame S is pushed and it turns in regard to the main frame M around an axial bolt 33. The turning direction is counterclockwise. The second telescopic member 17 is gradually contracted following the turning movement, and force blocking the turning movement is generated. By this force, transition of the seat frame S to a forwardly descending slope is softened.
