PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating type electric razor capable of making all of a plurality of blade heads follow unevenness of skin according to various shaving methods and absorbing a shock caused by the unevenness of a bone part and the like. SOLUTION: In this reciprocating type electric razor 1 having a body block 8 and a head block 10 connected to the body block 8 via its upper part, outer blades 4 are arranged in parallel longitudinally in the upper part of the head block 10, and inner blades 7 are arranged on the inside of the outer blades 4. Four rotational connection parts 32 are arranged in the front and rear positions in the left and right end upper parts of the head block 10, while four head supporting members 37 freely moving upward and downward independently of each other are arranged in the upper part of the body block 8. When the upper ends of the respective head supporting members 37 are individually connected to the respective rotational connection parts 32 in the four positions freely rotationally in the longitudinal direction, the head block 10 can be oscillated freely in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction.
