Device (1) for shutting off the flow of gas in a gas-fed apparatus, of the type comprising an inlet (2) for the gas, an outlet (9) for supply the gas to the apparatus and means (8) for shutting off the gas flowing out towards the apparatus. The means (8) are originally shaped in such a way as mechanically to block the supply of the gas to the apparatus in correspondence with an inclination or oscillation, relative to a vertical axis and exceeding a predetermined measure, of at least a part of the apparatus whereto the device (1) itself is applied. Said means (8) comprise a movable element (8), preferably a ball or a conical or cone-frustum element, inserted in the device (1) and movable automatically from an assent position in which it does not interfere with the passage of the gas through the device (1), to an active shutting off position in which it obstruct the passage of the gas, directly or by means of a shutter (5). <IMAGE> |
