PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer press with an offset mechanism which does not use complicated and easily malfunctioning parts such as a restraint cylinder and cam follower, etc., has a simple and stout mechanism which hardly malfunctions and conducts more than two kinds of various shifting actions. SOLUTION: The transfer press is equipped with a lifter drive force transmission dolly 45, an offset dolly 46, a lifter drive force transmission mechanism 68, and an offset mechanism 70. The offset mechanism 70 comprises a ball screw 72 extending in the line direction, a servomotor 74 which is installed on the offset dolly and rotates the ball screw, a ball screw nut 76 which fits to the ball screw and is installed on the lifter drive force transmission dolly, and a motor control system 78 which controls the servomotor in compliance with the travelling amount of a feeding dolly in the line direction and offsets the offset dolly 46 in the line direction relative to the lifter drive force transmission dolly 45.
