PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stable measurement by preventing measurement instability due to an abnormal rise in a screw rotation load or the generation of short shots caused by the lack of the retained volume of materials. SOLUTION: The injection molding machine for a low melting alloy which is equipped with a material feeding device 8 to feed a low melting alloy material such as an aluminum alloy into a heating cylinder 1 with a screw 4, and which injects the molten low melting alloy material into a mold 10 by driving the screw 4 with a hydraulically controlled injection cylinder 13, is characterized in that the injection molding machine is provided with a back-pressure detector 11 to detect maximum back pressure in the injection cylinder 13, and a computing unit 122 to compute the feed rate of the low melting alloy material so as to maintain the material retention volume within a predetermined range, based on the maximum back pressure detected by the back-pressure detector 11.
