PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair reducing impact transmitted to a user. SOLUTION: The wheelchair 1 is provided with a main frame M, a seat frame S, a back frame B and a telescopic member 47. The seat frame S is turnably journalled to the main frame M by an axial bolt 45. The main frame M is provided with a base frame 17, an upper frame 19 and an erected frame 23. The main frame M is also provided with an impact absorber 27. The impact absorber 27 is provided with a cylinder 29, a bar 31 and a helical spring 33. The helical spring 33 is held near a lower side of the cylinder 29, and a lower end neighborhood of the bar 31 is inserted in the cylinder 29. A lower end of the bar 31 is abutted on an upper end of the helical spring 33. The helical spring 33 is a compression spring. Impact transmitted to the user is reduced by expansion and contraction of the helical spring 33.
