PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board stand which can be usually kept at a stand-by position relating to a table and taken out at need and immediately usable. SOLUTION: A board support member 12 is supported relatively rotatable to one end side of a base member 11 including a plate shape body 15. The board support member 12 is rotatably equipped in between a first position upward erected from the face of the plate shape body 15 to support a board B in a leaning posture and a second position set along the plate shape body 15 at the lower face side of the plate shape body 15. When the board support member 12 is set at the second position, a space S into which the top plate 45 of a table T can be inserted is formed between a U-shape shaft 40 comprising a frame F of the board support member 12 and the plate shape body 15. Thus the board stand 10 is supported by the peripheral area of the top plate 40 in a manner to vertically stride over the top plate 45.
