PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poultry feeder capable of easily and automatically controlling feeding space in accordance with rearing stages of the poultry. SOLUTION: This poultry feeder is equipped with an adjusting hood 18 and a rodlike material 34, wherein the adjusting hood 18 is positioned over a feeding plate 40, attached to a falling hood 14 so that the adjusting hood 18 is vertically movable, regulates in its movement by being fastened to the falling hood 14 when it is downward moved, and forms the feeding space 30 which makes the feed flow down on the feeding plate 40 in a space between itself and the feeding plate 40, and the rodlike material 34 is so structured that it perforates a perforation 52 formed on the feeding plate 40, its lower part is downward projected from the feeding late 40, its upper part is extended to the inside of the adjusting hood 18 and connected with the adjusting hood 18 through a connecting rib 33. When the rodlike material 34 is contacted with a contacting part and pushed up, the adjusting hood 18 is pushed up together with the rodlike material 34, so that the feeding space 30 is widened.
