PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device with a mechanism for automatically opening/closing a toilet seat lid and a toilet seat, which has no moving parts and more surely operates according to conditions of a user. SOLUTION: In this toilet device, a human-body detecting sensor, which detects a state in which the user stands in front of a toilet stool 11, is split into: a first human-body detecting sensor 13 for detecting the user standing in a closed state of the toilet seat lid 14; and a second human-body detecting sensor 18 for detecting the user standing in an opened state of the lid 14. The toilet device is also provided with a seating detecting sensor 17 for detecting that the user seats himself/herself on the toilet seat 15.
