<p>A mobile station and frequency-band detection method in a mobile communication system, in which a base station communicates with a mobile station in one of a plurality of set frequency bands. In this detection method, when a frequency band of a radio signal from a base station is to be detected, attempted detection of a prioritized frequency band is performed before attempted detection of other frequency bands; the prioritized frequency band may be a frequency band which was used in the past for communication with one or more base stations or may be a predetermined frequency band.</p> |
