PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a usable telescopic pipe for a vacuum cleaner which can be extended and contracted with a single motion by utilizing exhaust pressure from a motor-driven blower and a vacuum cleaner using the same. SOLUTION: This telescopic pipe 1 for the vacuum cleaner, each of which includes a suction air passage 11 and an exhaust air passage 8, causes an extending operation or a sliding force for helping the extending operation by exhaust air, therefore, the exhaust air from the motor-driven blower enables an easy extension and contraction of the telescopic pipe 1 for the vacuum cleaner.
