PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an organic acid and an alcohol having high yields to raw materials and low CO2 outputs. SOLUTION: Disclosed are a microorganism featured by incorporating a gene encoding an organic acid-forming enzyme into an alcohol-forming microorganism and a method for producing the alcohol and the organic acid featured by fermenting a saccharized raw material using the microorganism and recovering the organic acid and the alcohol from the obtained fermented liquid.
