<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a digital pet optionally offering a new topic to a user without any boredom. SOLUTION: A character of this digital pet, conversion topics, and the like are stored in a character device 10, and the character of the digital pet is displayed on a monitor 11, while sound of a conversation is outputted from a speaker 12. The character device 10 is connected to the Internet via a communication line 13, and from a topic file offering site arranged on the Internet, a new topic file is optionally downloaded automatically to be stored in a memory of the character device 10. Therefore, the digital pet continuously offers an unknown topic to the user without repeating the same topic.</p> |
