PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently complete an embroidery pattern in a short time in a large embroidery object and to widen an embroidering area. SOLUTION: This embroidering machine is provided with a machine head 2 arranged on a base 1 for driving a machine needle 10 and the like, a Y-axial direction moving mechanism 14 having a movable frame body 17 moving in the Y-axis direction, and an X-axial direction moving mechanism 25 arranged in the movable frame body 17 for turning a cloth as the embroidering object in the left and right directions (in the X-axial direction) to a bed 48 on the lower thread side. The X-axial direction moving mechanism 25 is arranged rotationally to the movable frame body 17 and constructed of rotational rollers 26 and 28 spaced out mutually for suspending the cloth as the embroidering object on the outer circumference side, a driven drum 32, and a fastening tool 40 holding the cloth, which is suspended on the outer circumference side of the rotational rollers 26 and 28 and the driven drum 32, in a stretched condition.
