PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bank weed-preventing device which can surely and simply prevent weed from growing on a bank. SOLUTION: This bank weed-preventing device comprises a support member 1 comprising a support 11 and a receiver 13, a weed-preventing plate 2 for covering the slope D1 and top side D2 of the bank D, anchor means 3 for fixing the weed-preventing plate to the bank, and a filler which is filled in a space between the weed-preventing plate and the bank slope to cover the slope, wherein the receiver 13 of the support member 1 can support the weed-preventing plate 2 with the side facing the slope. The anchor means 3 each comprises an anchor body 31 and a fixing bolt 32. The anchor bodies are horizontally driven into the slope D1 of the bank D, and the fixing bolts 32 penetrated through the weed-preventing plate 2 are screwed into the anchor bodies to hold the weed-preventing plate 2.
