PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dip net having a good operating efficiency. SOLUTION: This dip net comprises a net part 3 of the dip net having tips of two net frames 31 and 32 having rigidity and tied with a soft material. An already made net 4 is stretched over the net frame structure. Root parts of the net frames 31 and 32 are attached to a metal fixture 5 and can be opened and closed. Furthermore, the root ends of the net frames 31 and 32 are formed into a ring shape and a string 6 is passed therethrough. The metal fixture 5 is composed of a main shaft 51 screwed into an already made rod 7 and mounted therein and a driven shaft 52 passed through the main shaft 51 and mounted so as to open and close the net frames 31 and 32. The driven shaft 52 can be rotated with the main shaft 51 as a bearing. The method for assembling the net part 3 as the dip net is carried out as follows. The hanging dip net part 3 is initially raised upward. The string 61 passed through the ring at the roots of the net frames 31 and 32 is then tightened and strongly bound to the rod 7. The net frames 31 and 32 are opened by the operation to spread a net frame string 33. Thereby, the dip net is formed.
