A flat shielded cable comprises a plurality of conductors 10 insulated, preferably by laminations 12, on either side thereof, perforations 6 in the insulation in line with at least one of the conductors, and an electrically conductive coating applied over the insulation and through the perforations to make a bond with the conductor. The coating may be a silver preparation, the perforations may extend through the conductor, and the insulation may be an adhesive polyester or fluorinated ethylene propylene. |
