PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lame person from losing his/her balance, when the per son, who cannot keep his/her balance with his/her foot put on a floor, seats himself/herself on a shower chair for getting assistance in washing his/her body. SOLUTION: The shower chair 1 with no armrest and backrest is composed of a seat board 2 which is supported by four legs 6. The lame person is brought into an unstable attitude, when he/she seats himself/herself on the shower chair 1, puts his/her feet between the two front legs 6, and locates them inside the seat board 2. For this reason, a board 10 is detachably laid between the two front legs 6, and his/her feet is prevented from being put between the two front legs 6, so that his/her balance can be kept. |
