PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly locate an artificial pulley in an auxiliary tool for attaching the humerus element of an artificial elbow. SOLUTION: The auxiliary tool has a guide tool 30 for piercing the humerus pulley T along a geometrical axis X-X' of the bending of a joint to be attached. The tool has a stirrup element 31 structured to be fixed to the pulley T. The tool 30 limits guide regions 35c, 33d and 36a for introducing (F1 ) a drill 40 into the inside of the pulley T along the axis X-X' of the bending. The auxiliary tool further has at least one stepped template for determining the forward offset of the axis X-X' of the bending for the diaphsis axis of the humerus.
