PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use electric washing machine such as a dish washer, a washing machine, etc., which is capable of maintaining an original function of a sink or a bucket when not in use and capable of relatively freely utilizing parts of desired sizes suited to the application. SOLUTION: The electric washing machine is characterized in that a generating mechanism part of magnetism 10 is arranged underside of the bottom wall 6 of a tub 4 of a sink 2, and a rotating mechanism part 12 is arranged on the bottom wall 6 of the tub 4 and at the position corresponding to the generating mechanism part of magnetism 10, in that a basket 14 having dishes to be washed therein is placed on the rotating mechanism part 12 and the tub 4 is filled with washing water 18, in that when the generating mechanism part of magnetism 10 is energized, a rotating magnetic field is generated to rotate the rotating mechanism part 12 and an eddy flow is generated by means of a stirring fan 16 to wash the dishes, and in that after washing the sink 2 is capable of being used as the original sink by removing the basket 14 having dishes therein and the rotating mechanism part 12 and the basket 14 is also capable of being used as the original basket.
