<p>The present invention comprises a drop-on-demand ink-jet printing head, comprising a base plate (44); a vibration unit which includes a plurality of piezoelectric vibrators (45, 46) each having a first end, a second end opposite from the first end in a longitudinal direction, a first surface extending in the longitudinal direction, and a second surface extending in the longitudinal direction and opposite from the first surface, wherein each of the piezoelectric vibrators (45, 46) has a laminated structure of piezoelectric layers and internal electrode layers to move the first end relative to the second end in the longitudinal direction upon application of an electric signal to the internal electrode layers thereof. The base plate (44) is fixed to the first surface of each piezoelectric vibrator (45, 46) at the second end; and an electric line (47, 48) is connected to an external electrode of each piezoelectric vibrator (45, 46) on the second surface and at the second end to apply an electric signal to the, internal electrode layers of each piezoelectric vibrator (45, 46). <IMAGE></p> |
