PADMOUNTED DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER TANK

A padmounted distribution transformer tank and method of constructing t he same is disclosed wherein hem-bend flanges are constructed on the upper edge s of the front terminal panel to act as a heat shield to protect the painted surface during the welding operation on the cover. Hem-bend flanges are also utilized on the sidewalk o f the tank to improve the structural strength of the tank flange.
