A material gripper feed system comprising a linear rail having a load position, a processing position, and an unload position, and a gripper shuttle, the gripper shuttle having a gripper bar and a gripper plate, wherein the gripper bar and grippe r plate, in combination, grips and support material at the load position without perforating the material, moves the material in a linear direction along the linear rail to the processing position, and after processing of the material in the processing position, moves the material to the unload position, where the material is released from the griper bar and gripper plate.
