Passages in the outlet end of the casing are pointed towards the main pipe central axis. - A static mixer for two flowing fluids comprises two pipes connected to each other at an angle, the end of a branch pipe supporting a distributor casing inside the main pipe. The casing comprises two ring-shaped walls, the inner wall defining a flow channel between the inlet and outlet ends of the casing for the primary flow of fluid through the main pipe. The inner wall contains holes for a secondary flow of fluid from the branch pipe to pass through, resulting in radial jets for mixing with the main flow of fluid. Passages in the outlet end of the casing are pointed inwards towards the central axis for the main pipe. |
