PURPOSE: A fuel warning lamp apparatus for a vehicle is provided to improve comfortableness and convenience by delaying the lighting time of the warning lamp for the predetermined time with an operation delay circuit, and to enhance the quality by preventing accidents from stopping an engine. CONSTITUTION: A thermistor(TH) is installed in a fuel tank to detect shortage of fuel to indicate to a driver by lighting a warning lamp(WL) in a shortage of fuel. A warning lamp delay circuit(DDC) is installed between the thermistor and the warning lamp to delay the lighting time of the warning lamp for 6-8 seconds, and operated through charging of a condenser(C1) and switching of a transistor and a thyristor. Thus, a wrong lighting phenomenon of the warning lamp from flowing of fuel is cut off and a flow of current is delayed.
