LYSOZYME OF BACTERIOPHAGE K11 AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A lysozyme of bacteriophage K11 and a preparation method thereof are provided, which lysozyme of bacteriophage K11 can cause lysis of the cell wall, and a nucleotide sequence and an amino acid sequence of the lysozyme of bacteriophage K11 are determined initially. CONSTITUTION: A gene encoding the lysozyme of bacteriophage K11 has the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 3. The lysozyme of bacteriophage K11 has the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4. An expression vector pET-15 KLYS contains the lysozyme gene of bacteriophage K11. The method for preparing the lysozyme of bacteriophage K11 comprises transforming Escherichia coli with the expression vector pET-15 KLYS and culturing the transformed Escherichia coli in a medium.
