PURPOSE: A voltage controlled oscillator by using a collector terminal voltage control circuit is provided to construct with a further simple circuit for controlling the oscillation frequency of the local oscillation block at the radar detector in comparison with a current fixing circuit of a conventional base voltage control type oscillator by utilizing the collector terminal voltage control circuit. CONSTITUTION: A voltage controlled oscillator by using a collector terminal voltage control circuit includes a power supply(1), a first node(2) for dividing the voltage applied from the power supply(1), a first and a second transistors(3a,3b) applied thereto the voltage divided by the first node(2) to each of the base, a second node(4) located between the first transistor(3a) connected to the first node(2) or the second transistor(3b) connected to the first node(2), a grounded third transistor(5) connected to the second node(4), a third node(6) for connecting each of the emitters of the first and the second transistors(3a,3b), an output terminal(7) divided from the third node(6), a grounded fourth node(8) located between the output terminal(7) and the third node(6), a fifth node for connecting the collectors of the first and the second transistors(3a,3b) and a collector control voltage terminal(10) for applying the voltage to the fifth node(9).
