SLAB TURNING APPARATUS IN PLATE ROLLING LINE

PURPOSE: A slab turning apparatus in plate rolling line is provided to improve quality of product and reduce man-hour of maintenance operation by preventing collision of slab with surrounding parts during the turning process of slab. CONSTITUTION: The slab turning apparatus in plate rolling line comprises a body part(10) on the upper surface of the body of which a resting stand is formed in the state that the body part(10) is mounted into space between table rolls of a roller table(120), and in which a mounting hole is vertically formed on the central part of the resting stand; an ascending and descending cylinder(20) which is fixed into the mounting hole of the body part(10), and at the front part of a rod of which a connecting bracket is formed; a lifting member(30) which is ascended or descended through the mounting hole in the state that the lifting member(30) is hinge connected to the connecting bracket, and on the circumferential surface of which a base that is surface contacted with the upper surface of the resting stand is mounted; a rotation member(40) which is rotationally connected to a circular protrusion forming the upper surface of the lifting member(30), and on the upper surface of the body of which a flange part is formed; a rotation cylinder(50) on a rod of which a connecting bracket connected to the rotation member(40) is mounted through a hinge in the state that the rotation cylinder(50) is mounted on the base of the lifting member(30); and a rotation table(60) on the upper part of the body of which slab (S) is rested in the state that the rotation table(60) is fixed onto the upper surface of the rotation member(40).
