PURPOSE: To make connection to each stage precise and easy and improve the efficiency regarding a connecting apparatus for a multistage connector. CONSTITUTION: A wire connecting apparatus is an apparatus to carry out press- connection of electric wires by pressing plates in respective stages of a connector main body. Open parts 15, 16 are formed in right and left of a wire arranging block 2 provided with the pressing plates having a clearance recessed part 11 for the pressing plates in the insides and a cutter guide 12 each, cutters, and a recessed part 10 for fitting of a connector main body. An arranged wire comb such as a fixed arranged wire comb 18, a movable arranged wire comb 20, etc., are respectively installed in the outside of each open part. The apparatus is further provided with a first and a second cutters; a first cutter to install and cut an electric wire in a first pressing plate by arranging a wire on a first pressing plate fitted in the recessed part 10 of the wire arranging block 2, putting a second pressing plate on the first pressing plate, and then pushing the second plate to the recessed part 10 and also to assemble the first and the second pressing plates, and a second cutter to press an electric wire to the second pressing plate and to cut the wire by arranging the wire on the second pressing plate and pushing the plate to the recessed part 10. |
