Non-curing thermosensitive compsn. useful in sealent tapes and contg. (a) 100 pbw of a natural or synthetic elastomer (b) 5-100 pbw of a flexible thermoplastic non-resinous polymer (e.g. one which cannot be stretched reversibly to an elongation of 100% and is hard and inflexible) which is compatible with the elastomer, (c) 1-75 pbw of finely divided metal particles, (d) up to 150 pbw of a filler, and (e) up to 500 pbw of a plasticiser compatible with the elastomer. The compsn. has better low temp. properties than the compsn. of the main patent, and is esp. useful for installing automobile windscreens.
