SEWAGE COLLECTION APPARATUS FOR DRAINAGE CANAL AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A sewage collection apparatus for drainage canal and a controlling method thereof are provided to control smoothly the flow of water in a canal by handling automatically an operating speed of a collector according to a detected water level. CONSTITUTION: A driving sprocket(21) and a driven sprocket(22) are installed on bottoms of an installation platform(11) and a canal(10). A chain(23) is installed between the driving sprocket(21) and the driven sprocket(22). A chain cover(24) is installed at both sides of the chain(23) in order to protect the chain(23). A plurality of rakes(25) are installed at the chain(23) in a predetermined interval. The driving sprocket(21) receives rotary power from a motor(26). A voltage change element(37) is installed at an end portion of a resistant shaft(39). A water level sensor(36) including a floater(38) is installed at the outside of the resistant shaft(39). An output terminal of the water level sensor(36) is connected with a control portion(30).
